my beloved life

Wednesday, September 28, 2005

haihz, havent been doin much in my life... exam exam all the way man!! summore next week trials!! how am i gonna excel man!!

Anyway, recently have been stressed about another thing... goin into uni!.. im deciding whether i am capable of doin a double degree or not... and whether i should go australia or do locally?.. these two are my major concerns right now!!

so, no tennis news for quite awhile. Davis Cup is the only interesting tennis news.. but i mean, Crotia and Slovakia?? whatever happen to Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Russia?? all of them boast big name players like Nadal, Ferero, Kuerten, Safin, Coria.. why did they still lose?? i guess it is down to over confidence.. i mean, how can small time players like Hrbaty and Ljubicic become the hero of their nation and bring their country to the Davis Cup final when both of them cant even go past the third round of any major events?? doesn't really make any sense do they? i think they should do a match bidding against all the top players.. here's my line up for the teams:

Team A
Roger Federer
Marat Safin
Bob/Mike Bryan
Maria sharapova
Lindsay Davenport

Team B
Andy Roddick
Rafael Nadal
Jonas Brjorkman/Max Mirnyi
Venus Williams
Serena Williams

So what do you guys think?? which team will win?? give ur comments.. if u dun like the team, u can comment too and state which player should replace instead...

haha, its unusual for me to blog twice in a week, and even twice in 2 days, but i felt i had to blog this out!!(eh pok u better look away!! :P)... I finally beat Pok Xian after a gruelling 4 hour marathon tennis match 4-6 6-2 6-3!!!... at the end of the match both of our hands had blisters, our legs barely can walk us out of the court with blisters at our toes... I'm not joking here!! This is serious stuff!!... but what makes this victory for me so sweet is i finally broke a 3 game winning streak of Pok Xian!!! so pok, this 1 is for u man, i really respect u man... chasing all those unpredictable shots of mine.. battling through palm injury and stuff.. dunno how u did it also..

So, ive been blogging for 2 months or so, but im still not good at it yet, i still have no idea how to change the template and stuff.. im not even sure if watever im blogging so far is good or not... so ppl, if any blogs is not good, plz be patient and write a comment at the comment column for that particular blog.. or if u wana comment on anything, juz drop me a comment at the chatter box, THANKS!!

sumhow not much inspiration to write blogs nowadays.. summore all sorts of exams comin up, hectic!! next week i have 4 tests in 5 days!!! HORROR!!

Ok, so US Open ended finally, with the expected winner to be Roger Federer... Sounds so familiar nowadays that when he actually LOSES, he will be on the Headlines!! Agassi played well, hitting the ball perfectly, but his 35 year old legs cannot take him that far.... in the beginning of the year u might be able to beat him once or twice, but from the grass court season onwards towards the Tennis Masters Cup, he is virtually invincible!! i mean, back to back Wimbledon and US Open titles for the second consecutive year, plus a 13-1 record in the Tennis Masters Cup, which he has won 2 times back to back... how in the world can u beat this bugger???

Let's switch our attention to my course, MUFY.. we held a MUFY talent quest 2005 today, where we want to find the most talented performer, plus giving out prizes to the Popularity contest... it started late, thus i grumbled alot bout it.. the first few performance was kinda boring, and i thought that they din do the song justice at all.. then Room 502 came on stage!! BAM!! They nailed it man!! they composed their own song, singing bout all the MUFY lecturers, and they ended it by singing how they would miss MUFY and the lecturers... after they finish, the whole hall gave them a standing ovation!! Even the teachers!!! it was kinda obvious that they would win at that point, coz hey!.. they had the whole hall cheering for them!! who can do that??... popularity contest was kinda funny too... our group of friends got loads of awards, the Mr Handsome went to Bryan Yim Xi Wen(which if minus the Bryan, sounds like a girl's name, dun u think?? :P).. the Couple award went to my very own good pal, Tee G-Mun and his gf Quinnie Qua(kinda expected coz all of us voted for them :P).. Ms Million Dollar Smile went to Melissa(whom i think can win the Darlie advert with her white teeth and great smile :P)... it ended with Room 502 singing the song again as they expectedly won the MUFY Talent Quest 2005... great day for MUFY!!!

Man, no topic to write edi la!! how did ppl like ah pok, kenny sia and all come up with such brilliant ideas of writing blogs? i thought of asking the blogger to generate blogs for me, but then i thought that if i do so, my blog wont be as original as the viewers would like it to be rite? so, that's all for now, happy viewing everyone!! GOD BLESS!

so, second week of us open.. gone are Blake(who isn't to go that far as quater-finals), also nowhere to be seen is Nadal(lost to Blake, wat the!!!).. semis is on now, Federer versus Hewitt and Agassi versus Ginepri... i cant help but notice that it seems that the Americans actually plotted that there will be an american in the final.. i mean, all of them, Roddick, Agassi, Blake and Ginepri are in the same half of the draw and will meet each other at every round.. i mean, Blake Agassi in the quaters, Agassi Ginepri in Semis... it does make sense that USTA made a plot to put an American in the final(since no one won US Open since Roddick!!)... of coz, no matter wat they do, how can they beat the man that kicked Hewitt's ass last year, Roger Federer?? i mean, 6-0 in the finals?? so watever the US try to do, i have to say that sadly they're hope of an American winning the US Open this year looks pretty slim...

Ok, enough said of the Us open plot.. wanna talk about my program's Sharity Day.. it was kinda fun, i sold Float(Root Beer plus ice cream which cost at a whopping 3 bucks!!).. hectic man!! tones of ppl crowded to buy the float, i barely had a place to stand!! of coz, i oni did till 1(i was suppose to do till 3 :P) coz i went to play foosball after that haha... hope the teacher won't blow me off on Monday... plenty of food there, rice, mee, cincau(black jelly for those who dunno wat it is), float, malay kuih... there are also stalls doin nail art and body tattoo!! those 2 was so hot among students, they only packed up at around 4.30pm!!! anyway, it was alot of fun, pity the cafetaria though, no business for a day.. hehe.. even though it was tiring, everyone was happy and satisfied... Today, i heard we raised around 11000 riggit in the Sharity Day!!! Wow, that's alot of cash!! well, all in the name of charity, everyone showed that we can make a difference, juz by putting sum effort, no matter big or small.. so ppl out there.. DO CHARITY!!!

well, i take comp science, and programming is part of my syllabus... i have to admit, programming is very interesting, but i also find it hard to understand!! the teacher say "Juz use ur common sense and u'll be able to do it, its not hard!!" Darn, so what the teacher means(to my intepretation) is i have no common sense i guess. I think the teacher is right though, since young i have been lacking something that i cant really figure out wat was it(i din know there was sumthin called 'common sense')... i wasn't able to make myself understand a simple statement or anything that my peers are able to do!! No wonder my tuition teacher always say "Zhen Han, Guna Common sense kamu boleh tak!? saya nak muntah darah la ajar kamu!!"....

So, programming seems to be the same thing as the common sense incident, i keep teling the teacher i dun understand wat is he teaching till he got fed up and stop answering my questions.. haihz, am i lacking in common sense? i think so, or else the teachers that taught me wouldn't suffer from accelerated aging syndrome!!

What do i do then?? programming is quite a big part of comp science and i cant afford to flunk it... thank god He created Darren!! he was like the programming expert and he actually took time to teach me and write programs for me to understand better.. well, juz now, right b4 my practical test, he taught me too... i could see that he is so stress.. he was like "Zhen Han u cant rely on me too much!! u GOTTA THINK!!!" wow, i really see that he is very stress man... anyway, i finally started to get the hang of it, but my test is now!!! damn, so i took a gamble and juz did 1 of the programming chapter... enter the exam lab.. wow!! thank god i did it man!! it was almost the same!!! well, i did quite well in that programming practical in the end(FULL MARKS!! :P)... i need to specially thank Darren here for all ur effort and time(plus all the white hair grown for teaching human with no common sense like me :P)!! THANKS ALOT!!
