my beloved life

I was flipping through my high school year-end 2004 book when i spotted this poem written by a student.. I find it quite interesting and i would like to dedicate this to all my friends..
Parting There's today a gloomy air,
There's emptiness in our chairs,
We've gone already far somewhere,
We'll leave behind many a care.
Yes, our parting's not so sweet,
For we don't know when we'll meet
Perhaps when we're resting our sweat-stained feet,
In a faraway place, along a foreign street.
But one thing we know for certain,
That so long flows life's fountain,
A time before death's parting curtain,
We'll meet ere we've each other forgotten.
Our weary roads diverge into yellow wood,
And into its unknown we'll go, parted for good.
We'd stay this time this life, if we could,
But for Fate's hand and tempestuous mood.
Here's a thought, to keep you company;
Here's a cheer, tellling you, live joyfully;
Though we're soon and now apart,
Friendship's flame brightly burns always at heart.

who would have guessed that i would be watching such a show as the Exorcism of Emily Rose at 11.50pm in GSC 1u?.. i certainly didn't even think about that too, but that was what i exactly did yesterday!!... i was suppose to reach 1u at 7.30pm... but ended up reaching there at 9pm!!(sorry la g-mun and quinnie, raining and jam ma, i cant do anything about it also..) and i left house at 6pm!! so i was actually driving for 3 hours before finally reaching 1u!!...
anyway, i din watch the show alone of coz, watched with 2 other gal friends!!(hehe..)
the show is quite nice i would say, but i dun really like the way it is being presented.. all the courtroom talk seems abit dragging at times... but the flashbacks were awesome!!.. especially the last part, where the priest tried to get the demons out of Emily Rose.. whoa, stunning man... i mean, the demons were the strongest demons ever heard!!... imagine Nero, Judas and Belial to name a few.. and to think that the Devil himself, Lucifer is involved too!! i never ever thought that would happen.. the end of the trial was kinda weird though.. i mean, the court sentence the priest guilty of homicide, but they decide to set him free on time served in jail as well??.. what nonsence is this!?..
ok, enough of Emily Rose.. now we switch our attention to the Tennis Masters Cup.. What an end to the tennis season!!... the Final between Federer and Nalbandian turned out to be a 4 hours and 33 minutes marathon!.. in the beginning both were equally matched.. with both sides hitting winners after winners, and a few double-faults along the way.. Federer won the first two sets tightly 7-6, 7-6.. so far, no break of serve yet... then, Nalbandian suddenly picked up the pace! and he totally outplayed Federer!! Federer simply had no answer to Nalbandian's hard hitting shots.. the next two sets fell tamely to Nalbandian 6-2, 6-1!!.. the start of the fifth set was no different from the previous... with Federer seemingly helpless at times.. Nalbandian reel away with the first four games to lead 4-0!...
Game over people??.. NO WAY!! all of a sudden, Federer started picking up the pace... and turned up the style ala Federer style... Nalbandian suddenly was at the back seat, juz trying to survive!!... so, this goes on, and Federer got to 6-5, with match point in his hands.. Is this the greatest comeback ever by a tennis player??.. Nalbandian, realising that this chance of beating Federer wont come anytime soon.. and he didn't dissapoint, hitting a winner down the line to pull it to 40-40.. and he then went on to break Federer's serve to go into a final set tie-breaker!!.. By this time, i was already glued to my seat, not even lifting my hands to drink water.. my eyes were glued to the screen... Never had i witnessed such an extraordinary match!!.. on went the tie-breaker... Federer seem to have lost abit of momentum due to the break of serve, juz what Nalbandian needed!!.. Nalbandian kept pressuring Federer and played him around the court!!.. soon, Nalbandian was at match point at 6-3... this time, he didn't waste anytime, converting the first of the three match points he has!!... what a match!!.. not only the players were exahausted, even the spectators(and me!!) was exahausted watching one of the greatest tennis match of all times!!.. for the record, Nalbandian's win not only snapped Federer's 35 match winning streak, but he also broke Federer's record of 24 consecutive finals won and also puts a hault in his 2-year-reign of the Tennis Masters Cup... WHAT A FINALLE!!

haha, really sorry for keeping u guys waiting for so long so the next post... guess i needed a rest after a long, gruelling exam period...
So, finally exams is OVER!! im suppose to feel happy and free and all, but i don't know why, i just don't feel it... happy? no i don't feel exceptionally happy.. free? ok i have abit more freedom now, but i still don't feel the freedom that i had expected.. i wonder why is that so.. in fact, today is just one week after exams, and i am already feeling dead bored of life, like there is no meaning in it.. hanging out with friends everyday, even though i really enjoy them, somehow had lost its spark(maybe coz went out too many times!!!)...
i am starting to get drawn into christianity... can't imagine that it is gonna happen.. heck! i was the kid that is so loyal in Buddhist and attending classes, jumping grades as i was too good for preliminary teaching and understanding of Buddhism.. nowadays however, i have somehow lost faith in it.. i didn't know when did this happen, or how does this happen.. i am starting to listen to preachings and prayers of chirstians, that i have totally forgotten how to pray in Buddhism... even when i sleep nowadays, ill pray to God in the christian way.. but does that make me a christian?.. is it that clear cut in life?.. can anyone give me any valuable pointers?
ok, enough of me for now... now we switch our attention to the oh-so-glamorous-and-famous Tennis Masters Cup!!.. it is such a dissapointment!! no safin, hewitt at first.. then roddick.. now nadal and agassi is out too!! what more fun do they have now in putting lousy players like Mariano Puerta and Fernando Gonzalez who don't even have much chances of beating Gaston Gaudio and Nikolay Davydenko, let alone Roger Federer?... it has become such a bore that it has lost its power.. i don't even turn on the tv to watch those matches now!!... i thought this year would be THE year, since all the really good players have qualified, but this... UGHH!!
