This particular post is not from me, but from another friend of mine who has stopped blogging.. but this post here is really meaningful, and can be linked to what im feeling right now, therefore i would want people to read it.. Hence, i shall repost this in my blog for everyone to see.. here goes..
Have you ever missed someone and felt terrible because you think that he/she doesn't miss you? Missing someone is a terrible but at the same time, sweet feeling. You will be sitting around wondering if you meant anything to him/her. Thinking if he/she ever cares about you. Rushing to the phone once it rings hoping that it's him/her. Sitting in front of the television but thinking of him/her missing the final episode of your favourite show. Laying on your bed, thinking of the last time you went out together. Thinking of how nice it will be to sit under the stars, talking about everything, your dreams, plans, future. Logging on to the internet hoping to see him/her online. When you realise that he/she isn't online, you will start worrying if he/she is okay. Missing someone is a way of growing up i guess. It exposes you to loneliness. It teaches you how to cope with being lonely and let's you know that there is actually a feeling known as emptiness. Sometimes it feels good to miss someone. You know that you really care and u indulge in the feeling of loving/caring for him/her. But missing someone and not knowing if he/she is feeling the same is terrible. You feel as if you are being left alone. So if you miss someone, tell him/her and let them know. At the same time, ask if they miss you too. Don't let the feeling of missing someone become jealousy or paranoid. If you are the one being missed and you know it, let the other party know. If you miss him/her too, tell them.Don't let them wait. God blessed...=)Well, on the lighter note.. the tennis season is starting!! WOHOO!! finally!!.. there are many things to look forward to in this 2006 tennis season, among them :
1. Will Federer sweep all four Grand Slams this time and top the ATP rankings again?
2. Can Martina Hingis survive in today's women tour with the likes of the Williams, Davenport and a whole lot more?
3. Will Nalbandian kick Federer's ass AGAIN? (certainly looking forward to it!)
4. Will Croatia win the Davis Cup again? (shouldn't happen, but they are capable of a few surprises :P)
5. Will
ANYONE other than Federer top the ATP rankings this season?
On a more personal news on tennis, my dear tennis friend, Pok Xian, will be leaving to Perth(most probably) in February, thus ending a three year battle(:P) with him in tennis.. man, im gonna miss playing with you man!.. i shall describe abit of the history of our tennis battle..
It all started on a hot day sometime in December 2002.. my first step towards the now famous tar court.. mind you, this is not a tennis court in TAR college, but real TAR like those on the road.. imagine playing tennis on it!.. so my training began, 3 times a week, 2 hours every session from 10am till 12pm(crazy huh!?).. in just a short period of 3 months, the coach thinks that im all ready to play with ah pok, who at that time has played for far longer than i could remember..
and of coz, that was the start of my total domination over ah pok in tennis! for the whole of 2003, i totally dominated!.. as ah pok said, i was the fastest learner he has every seen in tennis.. friends from our form 3 class will remember this, as i always boast in front of them that i had won ah pok in tennis.. in fact, it was so frequent till it got bored among our friends :p... haha, they actually said to ah pok: 'hey pok, when are you gonna win him man?'.. CLASSIC!.. of coz, towards the end of the year, he started winning abit, haha, guess what?.. he started winning when it was the US open season!.. that time, his idol was roddick, and thus he manage to learn the Roddick serve and used it on me!! though he could not generate that much of Aces, but his serve was scary, until i had to stand far FAR away from the court in order to be able to take his serve.. that was basically 2003, the record was probably around 20 wins for me and less than 5 wins for ah pok..
i shall not go into 2004, as it wasn't any different from 2003, i was still dominating ah pok, maybe a little less dominating as i was concentrating in my SPM(cough!!).. except for the fact that we actually played tennis DURING SPM season instead of studying with the excuse to release stress.. Hey, at least it worked, we did quite ok in our SPM!..
HAHA, i think this will be the favourite part of Pok Xian!.. 2005! this has to be ah pok's year!.. for the first time, he actually took a 3-0 lead in head-to-head record against me in the beginning of the year, and he was actually the more dominating one among both of us that year.. as it was the college year, we did not actually play as much as we wanted.. this is also the year where we actually took the effort to hire a coach to coach us.. and ah pok fully utilise it as he is getting better and better!!.. for me, i actually think that i have deproved after takin up coaching, wonder why, haihz.. but even though i did not actually dominate this year, this is by far my best year to me, as i won 2 silver medals for tennis!.. one is for the MUFY Games, the other one was for the MAPCU(Malaysia Association of Private Colleges and Universities) tennis tournament representing Sunway University College.. haha, first two medals, so it was not that bad a year right?.. don't give up ah pok! you can go to Perth and whoop their asses there and win a medal back!..
that's the history of this two excellent individuals.. two more individuals in the name of Adam and Dom are starting to enter the league and challenge both of us.. however, i doubt that they can beat us anytime soon.. anyway, feel free to call us to play doubles with u guys whenever you are ready! HAHAHAHA!!
P/s: Btw ah pok, when are we gonna have our OBD Tennis Masters Cup Final man?.. Im all ready to kick ur ass and settle our 2005 score!
