my beloved life

Week Two of Uni life just ended, this means I have only 11 weeks more before my final exams come.. As a veteran Uni student(actually juz spent 1 semester =P), I pretty much know the rules of the game, the study process, when to play, when to get serious.. Not to say I can get HD for all units following, but just the life that I had gotten used to..
Birthday juz past.. yes, most of you wouldn't know anyway, which is good in a way.. All my life, I had just wish for a peaceful, quiet birthday.. Just one day free of problems.. Of coz that's not possible, but juz hope that it is as problem-free as possible.. Well, it wasn't really smooth sailing, but it was just fine.. To all those friends who remembered and greeted me, thanks alot!.. I don't need gifts, just a whisper that you still remember me is enough a birthday present..
Let's now switch our attention to the words that most people don't really like being in,
Being Alone.. different people have different views regarding Being Alone, some say that being alone means there are no one physically there with you, that you are really just alone, some too say being alone means having no life partner or loved ones.. this matter is very subjective, and everyone's view is actually correct in their own way.. To me, being alone means you have no one that trully understands who you really are.. This means that you can be in a room with 30 people at a party, but still feel that you are
alone.. Ironic isn't it? since people always say that when you are surrounded by friends, you are not alone.. I am not saying being with friends is not good, it is very good that we socialise around and get to know more people.. But to have someone that trully understands what you are dealing with at the moment, to have someone that can sense that you are in pain even though you keep a smiling face in front of everyone, it is
very hard to find.. I am fortunate to have one now, even though she cant sense when I am in pain or not, but being there for me when I am in with problems is enough for me.. She might not be able to totally understand what I am dealing with, but at least she trys to, and that means alot to me.. having friends like this, is an absolutely necessary in life.. I am not saying that I don't feel like I am always alone, in fact I do, but having her support and all makes it easier to deal with problems at hand..
Anyway, on a lighter note, Juz changed my blade today!.. ok, its not the sword-type of blade, but rather a table tennis bat.. the wood of the bat is called a blade.. I changed my old heavy blade to a much lighter one.. this blade uses the Arylate-Carbon technology that allows the bat to have much more control and lighter.. Arylate-Carbon is a composite that comprises of two elements, which is, well Arylate and Carbon.. Yet to try it, hopefully it works well!! I realise that I have been going for the name of the product when I choose things, not the brand, but the model name.. For instance, my table tennis rubber's name is called
Hurricane and
Skyline, while my current wood has the tag
Torrent(almost bought this blade called Evolution, which sounds like Evo, haha!).. so what next, Kancil rubber!?
Today went to watch this movie called Lake House, starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock.. Melissa wanted to watch Just My Luck actually, but thanks to TGV's movie listing today, didn't get to watch that show.. anyway, back to the movie we watch, it was about this guy and girl that was living at the same date and time, only difference is the girl is living in 2006 while the guy is still in 2004! So the whole story is about how these two communicate through the mailbox at a lakehouse which was the guy's residence and the girl's dream house at their respective moments, how they fell in love in the process, but not being able to feel and touch, nor know where is each other.. whatever the guys has done, the girl will be able to see it, only after two years of the guy's life.. Confused already??.. Go check out the movie, to me that movie was great!! I don't know why, but I really like the movie!!

Another 24 hours, will be the start of my Uni's second semester.. one month holiday flew past like a blink of an eye(i don't know why they called it a blink of an eye because it is not so fast!).. Really have not done much during the holidays.. main activities would be Japanese class and badminton(surprise surprise, not tennis!) every week..
Yesterday went to Bon Odori for the first time, I would say it is quite interesting albeit short and the programme didn't have much variety.. But there were certainly lots of people there! Dancing around the stage was the main event actually.. The price of food and drinks though were
SUPER DUPER expensive! not that I had not expected that to happen, but this is WAY too much!.. After Bon Odori, went to meet up with Eva, Pok Xian and all at the cyber cafe nearby.. It was the second time I played DOTA, and let me tell you this, I am STILL not attracted by it!? I juz dun get the game, but although a newbie, I did help my team mates when it comes to defending the base, coz my character have this super power known as 'Frostbite' which freezes the opponent, then i would use the 'Freezing (something)' where it drops alot of ice on everyone around me!.. Of course, I was an easy meat when it comes to attacking, getting zapped, turning into a pig wil running.. and I often wander around aimlessly around the map, didn't even know that I can upgrade my spells.. all in all, a BAD game of DOTA!
Anyway, I finally got my new mp3 player!.. its the Silver colour Sony NW-E003. slick and small, plus a 1GB storage, it is the perfect player to bring around.. One thing though, is the time it takes to convert the songs into Atrac3plus and transfer them into the player.. It took my about 3 hours to transfer 400 songs, that about 45-60 seconds a song!.. it may look like a short period of time, but when u have to transfer such mass amount of songs, its SUPER long! Nevertheless, still very happy about my new mp3 player..
I am officially closing the poll, and
YES I would be changing my blog layout.. Now I just have to find time to search and edit the layout.. It may take awhile people, but it will definitely happen, so wait up and continue reading this blog!..

Cheers to a new semester at Monash University!~

hey people.. time flies, really flies.. unnoticingly, three quater of my holidays are gone.. Soon, assignments and exams will come by and haunt me again.. If I think last semester's units were difficult, I have no idea what is install for me in the next semester.. Last semester, technically I only have one study subject in Management as I already have experience in Economics and Accounts, and Econs stats is more of studying anyway.. Even with such ease, I still struggled to survive (don't know if I actually survived since results is not out yet).. Imagine the next semester, ALL my units are studying subject.. Accounts B, Macroeconomics, Marketing and Business Law, man how am I gonna survive this!!??
World Cup, is turning into a field of cheats!!
CRISTIANO RONALDO!! the ULTIMATE cheater among cheats.. Not content to make Rooney send off, he even winked towards the Portugal bench!.. Ok, Im not exactly an England fan, but his actions, really put him on top there with Maradona and his Hand of God..
All the attention on World Cup, I shall now talk abit about the Wimbledon Open, the only Grand Slam that is staged on grass courts.. Grass courts are mainly made of, well grass, which makes the ball less bounce and faster.. During the early days til the 20th century, players had relied on the serve-volley technique.. However, due to technology and racquet developement, players now can still maintain their baseline techniques and still have considerable success.. Anyway, enough with the introduction, let's go to the events.. As usual, several questions are to be answered..
1. Will Federer win yet another Wimbledon crown?
2. Can ANYONE detrone Federer from the Wimbledon crown?
3. Can Nadal make a successful transition from clay to grass and detrone Federer?
4. Are old power houses like Hewitt and Roddick still able to challenge Federer for the crown?
5. Can Sharapova win another Wimbledon Open?
6. Is it times up for the Williams' sisters?
Question 4 and 6 has been answered.. As Hewitt lost to current Australian Open finalist Baghdatis whooped his ass and Roddick, the finalist in the last two edition of Wimbledon, lost to local boy Andy Murray.. embarassment for the two veterans.. As for the Williams' sisters, Serena is not playing, while Venus bowed out in the first week!.. The line up for Men's singles semis is Nadal versus Baghdatis, Federer versus Bjorkman.. Women's singles semis would be Henin-Hardene versus Clijsters (which Henin-Hardene just won awhile ago) and Sharapova versus Mauresmo..
I guess the poll is rather dead right now, I shall give it one more week, and if the result still stands, I shall comply to the one with the highest vote.. its currently 3-2 for new blog layout.. For interest of new comers, u can vote on whether for this blog to remain this layout or for its layout to be changed.. vote at the tagboard please!

Yesterday I was:
-watching the remaining quater-finals matches of the World Cup, England lost to Portugal on penalties. Have to comment on this match! super bias referee-ing by the Argentinian referee. Have FIFA no common sense?? you cant put an Argentinian referee for a match involving England, sure to have bias-ness. The other match, France beat Brazil 1-0.

5. Qi Li Xiang - Jay Chou
Ideal places for running away to:
1. A nice drive, sometimes you just feel peace while you drive, but make sure you drive carefully and DONT drive to a traffic jam!
2. Asia Club(for my foosball that is =P)
