hey people.. time flies, really flies.. unnoticingly, three quater of my holidays are gone.. Soon, assignments and exams will come by and haunt me again.. If I think last semester's units were difficult, I have no idea what is install for me in the next semester.. Last semester, technically I only have one study subject in Management as I already have experience in Economics and Accounts, and Econs stats is more of studying anyway.. Even with such ease, I still struggled to survive (don't know if I actually survived since results is not out yet).. Imagine the next semester, ALL my units are studying subject.. Accounts B, Macroeconomics, Marketing and Business Law, man how am I gonna survive this!!??
World Cup, is turning into a field of cheats!!
CRISTIANO RONALDO!! the ULTIMATE cheater among cheats.. Not content to make Rooney send off, he even winked towards the Portugal bench!.. Ok, Im not exactly an England fan, but his actions, really put him on top there with Maradona and his Hand of God..
All the attention on World Cup, I shall now talk abit about the Wimbledon Open, the only Grand Slam that is staged on grass courts.. Grass courts are mainly made of, well grass, which makes the ball less bounce and faster.. During the early days til the 20th century, players had relied on the serve-volley technique.. However, due to technology and racquet developement, players now can still maintain their baseline techniques and still have considerable success.. Anyway, enough with the introduction, let's go to the events.. As usual, several questions are to be answered..
1. Will Federer win yet another Wimbledon crown?
2. Can ANYONE detrone Federer from the Wimbledon crown?
3. Can Nadal make a successful transition from clay to grass and detrone Federer?
4. Are old power houses like Hewitt and Roddick still able to challenge Federer for the crown?
5. Can Sharapova win another Wimbledon Open?
6. Is it times up for the Williams' sisters?
Question 4 and 6 has been answered.. As Hewitt lost to current Australian Open finalist Baghdatis whooped his ass and Roddick, the finalist in the last two edition of Wimbledon, lost to local boy Andy Murray.. embarassment for the two veterans.. As for the Williams' sisters, Serena is not playing, while Venus bowed out in the first week!.. The line up for Men's singles semis is Nadal versus Baghdatis, Federer versus Bjorkman.. Women's singles semis would be Henin-Hardene versus Clijsters (which Henin-Hardene just won awhile ago) and Sharapova versus Mauresmo..
I guess the poll is rather dead right now, I shall give it one more week, and if the result still stands, I shall comply to the one with the highest vote.. its currently 3-2 for new blog layout.. For interest of new comers, u can vote on whether for this blog to remain this layout or for its layout to be changed.. vote at the tagboard please!
