my beloved life

hey, this is a belated weekly report.. no real reason why i decided to post in the middle of the week instead of a weekend as I normally do.. maybe partly was because this week is Monash mid-semester holidays.. So far, it didn't really feel like a holiday at all, with all the jams and normal routines besides attending lectures.. Maybe it's because the following week is going to be a hellish week too, so this holiday was mostly spent thinking about the week ahead..

This week is a special week for Darren, as he finally enters the age where he can vote during the next Malaysia General Election! yes, he's officially 21 now!.. As to celebrate his birthday, a few of us, Bryan, Melissa, Wendy and I decided to give him a treat to send him off to adulthood.. we decided on Victoria Station as the other restaurant I suggested was relatively TOO expensive (if it exists in Starhill Gallery, how cheap you think it can be!?).. anyway, Darren was in his grumpy mode that day, but hey, its his birthday know, so we try to make him happy and all.. hopefully he appreciates what we did for him haha!...

Recently, two of my friends had ask me things related to their respective crushes (I hope its not the same girl they like!!).. they were like asking me, 'how to know if she likes me or not?' 'Are my advances to aggressive?' 'Do I really love the gal or its juz an infatuation(in reference to the 'like vs love' article circulating around)?'.. Hello! you ask me for wat! what makes you think I know these kinda stuff!?.. I think the article written by Aaron is quite good.. As he copywrited it, I cant possibly copy and paste it in my blog in case he sue me for breaching it.. For those who wana read his article, click on 'Aaron' at the link on the right and find the article.. as for my friends, I only have this to say.. I cant solve your problems because I know nothing about this issue!!!

hello again everyone!.. yes I know I have been missing in action for quite some time.. I have solid reasons for my lengthy absence which will be said later.. As I had not blogged for awhile, some events that occurred had slipped off my mind so I'll juz try to recall everything that happenned..

First, I shall talk bout the Monash Sports Carnival - Table Tennis that was held.. I was one of the committees in charge of organizing this event as you would know from the previous post.. well the event went fairly well, except from some minor errors in the format of play, the rest was fine all the way.. when it ended, there was this huge sigh of relief.. Not an easy job trying to cramp the schedule to fit 3 days and still give the players enough rest in between matches..

A day after that, it was the Monash Street Party.. I personally have nothing more to say than poor organisation and lack of information given.. we were suppose to sell hotdogs and rootbeers at a booth in the Street Party.. rushed really mad the whole day juz to get everything done.. and when we finally finish buying the stuff and ready to sell, guess what?.. the electrician told us that we will not have any power supply as the power is only enough to support the lights and fans, which was the totally opposite of what the Club and Societies Officer told us.. we had asked him many times about the power supply and all he said was don't worry as there would be power supply.. At that moment, I was super angry, how can these people, organizing the event, not know about these stuffs earlier?.. Again, I shall stress that this fella is not worthy of his post!.. well, since we did not have power supply, we could not do anything, so all of us came to my house and we juz feast ourselves on everything that we bought.. nice ending to the day, thankfully!!

I shall fast forward it to this week.. the worst week of my University life.. 3 assignments due in 3 days, and a presentation.. honestly, by the end of it all, I was thoroughly exhausted.. nothing more can be said about this week other than HECTIC!... thankfully, it is all over and done with!..

Yesterday, we went to watch Wendy and her team play netball.. I have to say netball matches are actually quite interesting and fun to watch, plus I learnt alot about the game.. everything was great, until the prize giving ceremony.. Wendy's team had just lost to the so called Sunway-Monash team, and when Wendy's team receive their medals, this bunch of guys mainly of Indians and Sri Lankans, who were already mocking us during the game, had the nerve to BOO Wendy's team then!.. at that moment, I was super angry!.. How can these unciviliased Indians and Sri Lankans do that!.. Im fine with them doing everything thay can to help the Sunway-Monash team to win, and even cheering and celebrating when they won, but this?.. its not like they even won an inter-college event, its juz a small event with probably 4 teams.. do you even need to boo when the opposition receive their medals?.. I did not hear them winning anything in MAPCU?. why?.. not good enough la!.. Sue for me for being racial in this post, but I have really lost respect and really look down on Indians and Sri Lankans now.. You would too, when you see this situation yourself.. what really pisses me off though, was that the official did nothing about it!!.. no teachers nor officials did anything!?.. this means that they actually tolerate this kind of un-sportsman like behaviour.. Monash is the best in Malaysia?.. they are a piece of shit now in my mind!.. same goes to Sunway!
