yes, I am finally typing this post, AFTER the most hectic week of my aussie uni life, presentation and assignment. I just realise that I have not posted anything since I left work, left Malaysia and arrive at Australia for more than a month (plz, J.U.S.T.!?). I apologise for my little gila-ness there, Australia is not exactly the place that can keep you sane all the time, if you know what I mean. No night life, no yum cha, expensive pool and ping pong, I honestly have no idea how people manage to survive all the years here. Anyway, I shall back track my life a little and fill you guys with my life, AFTER the last post.
Well, I didn't have much time to pack after work, just a few days I think. So that few days was busy packing stuff, checking visa, taking medical jabs and buying last minute stuff. Which reminds me, I kinda M.I.S.S. Mid Valley and 1U! seriously, my place here in Caulfield, there is a shopping mall called Chadstone. Guess what time it closes?? 5.30pm!!! hello? aussie-ians! people should only start shopping at 5.30pm when employees from office finishes work la! I tell you, aussies are lazy bums man! open for short number of hours, and still complain they are working hard! Seriously, there is one fish & chips shop in Frankston, they actually put at the signboard, that sunday is "dedicated to family"! Sunday is when people come out, so don't you want to earn the extra cash, so that you can have extra cash for holidays with family. Now that's "DEDICATED TO FAMILY"!
anyway, fast forward to first week in Australia. Wasn't the best week. The house sucked big time I tell you! Its like some ancient house, those creeky house from those horror shows. And the windows can't be opened initially. And we can't put down our foot to walk in the house (Ok, that didn't matter to me!). All in all, suck place. Then went to Kai Han's place to stay for a week. His house in Clayton is so much nicer than ours! cleaner, neater.. enough said.
so, things that I have done so far in Australia? hmm, well Adam and I found a place to foos, 1 dollar a game only, and new table so not so bad. watched a movie, tried some kind of salty popcorn (ewww!). Max brenner chocs was not bad. I think that's about all the happening stuff I have done man! yea, super sad! which reminds me how much I miss driving my kancil around. but driving here is a pain la, who would drive at 80km/h on a freeway!!! even I don't drive this slow on a busy road k!
Alright, that's all for updates this time. Yes, I will update more often. This time it is for real!
